ATF, Miami Gardens Police Involved In Deadly Shooting

A deadly exchange of gunfire among police and federal agents overnight in Miami Gardens. During an ongoing investigation of deadly shootings in the area, Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt says Bureau of Alcohol and Tobacco and Firearms agents alongside her officers were on the scene of an active case, and ended up being fired upon by suspects.

The officers and at least one agent returned fire at a suspect vehicle in the area of Northwest 161st Street and 27th Place.

One of the four suspects inside a car was killed. The three others are in custody.

The FBI is now handling the investigation since ATF was involved.
