The Broward County school district is preparing to begin demolition of where the deadly Parkland school shooting took place more than six years ago.
Officials say the process to tear down the 1200 building at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High will begin on June 13th or the following day.
The structure will come down in stages with the goal to have it fully gone before the next school year.
A memorial is expected to go up on the site to honor the 17 people who were killed on February 14, 2018.
