Alexander Twins Transferred To Federal Custody

The real estate broker brothers charged with sexual battery in state court have been transferred to federal custody.

Oren and Alon Alexander's attorney, Joel Denaro, hopes they'll be able to be released on bond after their initial appearance in front of a Miami federal judge tomorrow on sex trafficking charges.

"We're going to let it play out, and we're going to have a hearing, and yes, we are confident. And they ought to be."

A Miami-Dade County judge already agreed to a pre-trial release package for the brothers' sexual battery charges totaling more than five-million dollars, secured by their father's Bal Harbour home plus corporate surety bonds.

A federal judge last week denied bond to older brother, Tal, who is also charged with sex trafficking.

Their friend, Ohad Fisherman, is only facing a state court trial for sexual battery.

His release package is 260-thousand dollars in personal surety and a 25-thousand dollar bond.
