Miami Commissioner Speaks Out On New Corruption Lawsuit

Miami Commissioner Joe Carollo speaking out at today's commission meeting after two former employees of the Bayfront Park Management Trust accuse him of corruption. Carollo assuring the public the suit will be thrown out of federal court. Carollo is accused of using public funds for a personal yacht party, storing cash parking payments in a “money room” and supporting the purchase of a mobile veterinary truck searched by police when an employee discovered “controlled substances and prescription drugs” in it. The employees say they were fired for speaking out.
