Governor DeSantis is in Kentucky today talking to lawmakers about the need for a balanced budget amendment. DeSantis is pushing for Concurrent Resolution 45, calling on Congress to submit to states for ratification of a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution. He says this is a fiscally responsible provision to ensure Uncle Sam doesn't go into debt. Florida has had a balanced budget amendment since 1992.
