The FBI's main suspect is dead, but agents aren't giving up on solving the case of missing South Florida woman Ana Maria Knezevich believed to have been murdered in Spain in 2024.
The agency is offering an up to 25-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the 40-year-old's remains.
Investigators say a man believed to be her husband, David Knezevich, walked into her apartment building wearing a motorcycle helmet, spray painted the lobby's surveillance camera and then later walked out rolling a suitcase presumably carrying Ana's body.
Days earlier he rented a car in Serbia and drove to Spain.
He allegedly tinted back windows and changed license plates.
It's believed he dumped her body during his return trip through countries including France, Italy and Croatia.
After his arrest and return to South Florida months later, his body was found dead in a jail cell.
