Tua Tagovailoa was taken to a local hospital after suffering head and neck injuries during the Dolphins and Bengals game Thursday night.
The injuries came as a result of a second-quarter sack in which Tua hit the back of his head on the ground.
According to ESPN, his arms appeared to seize up almost immediately and he remained on the field for roughly 10 minutes before he was loaded onto a stretcher.
The Miami Dolphins' Twitter account provided updates following the incident on the field while many individuals expressed their concern as they watched it happening live.
